A Letter from the director's desk
Dear Supporters and Visitors,
Thanks to all of you who have frequented the exhibitions held at Masonic Contemporary from 2012 to the present. Your attendance is the uttmost reward of the time and energy dedicated to each art show ranging from group survey exhibitions to solo exhibitions.
As you may have noticed, we have been restoring the building's exterior structure with new brick work and a new roof. We now are begining on the interior, which will make for a grand unveiling when reopen to the public with our next exhibition lineup. Art specific improvments include permanent hanging hardware, enhanced daylight balanced LED lighting, and new exhibition space.
In addition, to housing an extensive collection of masonic artifacts curated by Gerald Leek, we home to the official Richard Knowles Estate Collection. As founding director, my dedication remains in administering the Knowles archive and curating contemporary exhibitions.
We look forward to greeting you at our grand reopening in 2019!
All the best,
Founding Director of Visual Arts
We are undergoing renovations and will resume our programming when we reopen late spring / fall of 2019.
